I have my own dedicated web server which I am running approx 30 websites on, using MS-SQL as the primary database. I keep getting errors on my websites to do with `Connection Pooling` i.e. `Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached. `. I know that in theory I can increase the size of my connection pooling but I dont want to do that as its a work around. I also know the erros may be caused due to DB connections getting opened but not always being closed. Without doing a code walk-through of all my 30 websites which would be mission impossible, what tool can i install on my server which will help me monitor my connection pooling and more to the point, advise me which of my webistes or applications is causing my connection pooling problem? My server is a Windows 2003 server.

Who do I choose to take a job with? CSC or Serco Consulting? I`m currently a Management Consultant working for a small consultancy in mainly Central Gov programmes. I`m finding Central Gov a bit boring now and want some private sector experience along with larger, more strategic programmes. Serco allows me to follow the consulting route but is 99% Central Gov based - but the programmes are bigger and more strategic. CSC is a Project Management role but there is more industry variety and it is more IT-focussed (I`m not a techie but I do miss working in IT environments). Problem is, I`m not sure I want to go into Project Management if it limits my ability to get a consulting role in the future, if that`s what I choose. Which job would give me more variety in career progression - or give me more options? What should I do...??
