Will my relationship work? I`m 17 and my boyfriend is 18. His mother hates me so much, she wont allow me to stay in their house, bitches about me to everyone, and hardly even acknowledges me when she sees me, and refers to my relationship with her son as `the association between you two`. She takes every opportunity to bring me down. On top of that my boyfriend is really hesitant and wont stay over at my house either. Even when I ask him he finds an excuse not to. We usually get on really well, but we have periods where we can get a bit.....weird. I`m not sure what it is, sometimes we just don`t click as well, but i think that it`s him that`s causing the distance when it happens. He always sticks up for his mother, even when it`s obvious to everyone else that she`s in the wrong. I wish he`d have the guts to tell her off, because he`s 18 and it really isn`t too much of her business who he dates! I`m worried that i`m getting in to something where it is inevitable that i will be hurt. I care about him so much, as a boyfriend and friend, as i`ve known him for about 4 years now. I`m his first girlfriend, and I know that he really cares about me a lot. What`s your opinion?
