I have not got a credit card or bank account so when i try to get any they just refuse how do i get on the credit ladder. im 58 years old (man)

How have you survied without a bank account ?
My advice is go and open one asap.. any bank will do... You need to start to build your credit score up... do it slowly by using your debit card etc... and then apply for a credit card... wait a few months before applying for any loans or credits...
